Executive Committee

The Executive Committee/Board of Directors is responsible for guiding overall operations including establishment of goals, oversight of finances and policies, and coordination of Network activities.

Community Input Committee (PLWA)

The Community Input Committee promotes involvement, provides an opportunity for sharing the reality of living with HIV/AIDS and offers vital input and guidance to the Network.

Data Collection Committee

The Data Collection Committee collects data from regional HIV/AIDS medical providers and federal, state and local government agencies. Using this data, they prepare and publish statistical reports regarding HIV/AIDS diagnosis, morbidity, and demographics for the WNY region.

Health and Human Services Providers Committee

The Health and Human Services Providers Committee affords the member agencies the opportunity to collaborate on regional issues and events affecting the HIV/AIDS community.

Policy Advisement/Minority Issues Committee

The Policy Advisement/Minority Committee works with elected officials and coordinates regional community awareness events and activities, while providing extensive input surrounding the unique challenges within their areas of expertise.

Red Ribbon Committee

The Red Ribbon Committee organizes the annual recognition of community members who have made a significant positive contribution to the mission of HIV/AIDS education and service in the Western NY region.

Rural Issues Committee

The Rural Concerns Committee identifies HIV/AIDS unique to their geographic area, establishes goals and makes recommendations to the Network.

Women, Children and Young People Committee

The Women, Children and Young People Committee explores the special issues unique to this focused HIV/AIDS population, including housing, social concerns, education, prevention and awareness.
